WILL THIS CONVINCE THE WESTERN "INTELLECTUALS"? – AT 9:05 A.M. ET:  At least the Hamas crowd is being honest about it – honest, that is, about who is supplying them with their weapons.  From Reuters:

GAZA - Gazans offered very public thanks to Iran on Tuesday for helping them in this month's fight against Israel, when Iranian-made missiles were fired out of the Palestinian enclave towards Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

"Thank you Iran", said large billboards on three major road junctions in the Gaza Strip - the first time there has been such public acknowledgement of Iran's role in the arming of Islamic terrorists in the tiny territory.

The message was written in Arabic, English, Hebrew and Farsi. The posters also depicted the Iranian Fajr 5 rockets that were used for the first time to target Israel's two largest population centers. No one was injured in the attacks.

The billboards were not signed, but a senior official with the Islamic Jihad, Khader Habib, said it was only natural to show gratitude for Iran's role in the conflict.

"Iranian rockets struck at Tel Aviv. They reached out to Jerusalem. Therefore it was our duty to thank those who helped our people," he told Reuters.

I find it fascinating that the billboards were written in several languages, including English and Hebrew – obviously messages to the United States and Israel.

If Iran is supplying Hamas, who else are they supplying?  Iran is a menace.  The Associated Press recently reprinted a diagram that it says came from Iran, showing plans for a nuclear weapon more powerful than the Hiroshima bomb.  I cannot confirm the accuracy of the story, but it sounds logical.  Nothing we have done has stopped the Iranian nuclear program, and we now hear about new "negotiations" being planned.  Why?  Negotiations have never worked with Iran.  They only provide more time for nuclear research.

Obama is faced with critical decisions in the region.  He is losing, not winning.  But wait.  Maybe he thinks he's winning.  Our influence is fading.  The Muslim Brotherhood is rising.  Iran is being challenged, but not very seriously.  What precisely is our policy?  What is actually in Obama's mind?  You know, the answers can be very frightening.  But Obama seems to have very strange, and dangerous, ideas about the Muslim world, to which he is culturally linked through his father.

Welcome to the next four years.  We are concentrating at home on the "fiscal cliff."  We'll solve that one eventually.  It's the foreign cliff we may fall off, and there'll be no one there to help us.
