SHE'S BACK – AT 7:08 A.M. ET:  Elizabeth Warren is a gift that keeps on giving.  Every day seems to bring new insights into her vivid imagination...especially when it comes to describing herself and her history.  From Breitbart:

A recently discovered video shows Elizabeth Warren telling another tall tale about her family. The day after she announced her candidacy for the U.S. Senate, Democrat Elizabeth Warren told the convocation at the University of Massachusetts-Boston: "My grandmother drove a wagon in the land rush to settle territory out west. It was 1889, she was 15 years old…She lived to be 94, to see her youngest grandchild--that's me--graduate from college…". The only problem with this story is that it’s not true.

Warren's maternal grandmother died in 1969, the year before Warren graduated from college, and her paternal grandmother was only 2 years old in 1889.

The details:

Warren graduated from the University of Houston with an undergraduate degree in 1970.

Her maternal grandmother, Bethanie Elvina (Hannie) Crawford Reed was born on October 29, 1875 in Lebanon, Missouri, and died on November 15, 1969 in Wetumka, Oklahoma. While she was 94 years old when she died, her death occurred several months before Ms. Warren graduated from college.

Warren’s paternal grandmother, Ethel Virginia Jones, was born in 1887 and died in 1975, at the age of 88.
Perhaps, after the fashion of Barack Obama's "composite" girlfriends in Dreams from My Father, Elizabeth Warren has created a "composite" grandmother.

COMMENT:  In addition, there are now serious questions about Warren's claim that her parents had to elope to get married because of anti-Cherokee prejudice in one of the families.  Breitbart has found what it says it believes to be the marriage certificate, showing that Warren's parents married about 15 miles from their home.

The issue is not little details of history.  It is that one story after another that Warren has told turns out to have been embellished.  If she were a Republican, she'd already be off the ticket.  Polls show her running even with Senator Scott Brown in the race for the Senate.  But there are reports that many Dems are disillusioned with Warren over her artistic storytelling.
