QUICK - GET HIM ANOTHER PRIZE - AT 10:03 A.M. ET: Rasmussen reports this morning that the president's poll numbers continue to drop, getting dangerously (or delightfully) close to the bottom they reached in the Ras poll on September 3rd. Some 47% of likely voters approve of the president's performance, while 51% disapprove. Maybe the Nobel Prize wasn't high enough. In Ras's presidential approval index, measuring the gap between those who strongly approve and strongly disapprove, Mr. Obama stands at minus 11, 28% to 39%. If someone had said on inauguration day that Barack Obama could become a drag on the Democratic ticket, no one would have believed it. Believe. Believe. October 16, 2009
